OAK MATCH POTS. 🌳🪵 When the first three batches of these charming creations hit the shelves in shop they sold so quickly that I never got the chance to put them online. So - I’ve reserved a few from the latest delivery for our website and they’ve just gone live this evening. They are so beautiful! Made by a local craftsman from reclaimed Yorkshire oak, each one is completely unique with differences in the colour and grain and depth of engraving. Each contains extra-long matches with a strike paper on the back and they look stunning sitting next to your Cabinet of Curiosities candle jar. They are in the candles collection on our website, but probably not for very long. 😬 (My little brass imps are not for sale - I love them so much!)

Pick an online order with me! When you order from us we can with ship it to you or (like this customer) you can choose to collect from the shop. All our potions are made here in our workshop underneath the apothecary (maybe I should do a video about that?!) and then packaged with care in our lovely bags and boxes. It means the world when you order from us or pop into the shop for your supplies. Thank you. 🙏🍄✨🌿 We ship twice a week within the U.K. and our shop is open daily including weekends and Bank Holidays..

CHRISTMAS EVE 🎄✨🌟 Has a special kind of olde magic, don’t you think? I’m lighting my candles, pouring a glass of something sparkly and taking a moment to be thankful for so many things… Good friends are arriving, food is in the oven, Mum is upstairs putting her twinkly outfit on, and our dogs are warm and cosy with their stockings hanging on the mantelpiece waiting for Father Christmas. What are you doing this evening? GINGERBREAD 🌲✨🦌 When I think of Christmas in our workshop, this is the fragrance I think of because we constantly have a batch on the go to restock the shop. Whether it’s candles, wax melts or soap bars this festive fragrance will fill your home with the comforting aroma of fresh home baking and warm spices. Gingerbread, cinnamon and clove is blended with maple, caramel and vanilla for a delicious, welcoming blend of sweetness and spice. Every year it’s our best-seller (and for good reason!). These photos bring such good memories of a styling workshop I took a few years ago with all-round clever clogs (who makes everything beautiful) and and her amazing gingerbread house. It wasn’t long after the misery of covid and was one of the first things I’d done outside of home and work. I always think of that day with such fondness and I learned so much!

These gorgeous photos of our windows at night by are the perfect opportunity to let you know it’s late night shopping in Haworth 🎄🍄🎁 We’ll be open until 7.30/8.00-ish this evening (Thursday) along with lots of shops, restaurants and the museum. It’s a good chance to browse without the crowds of the weekend! We’ll have sweet treats to keep your energies up and our lovely ladies are on hand to help with gift and fragrance choices. We’d love to see you!
