One of our favorites has been off exploring and they made it down to Landsend for the setting sun on the longest day of the year to spot the animals and of course the beautiful sunset.
We are still waiting to be connected to the internet in our studio space and once we are the online shop will be back in action.

Many celebrations were had over the last week by many and here is the Sunday night fireworks from St. Ives harbour that closed their weekend.
Here at RAAR HQ we celebrate getting a little closer to internet connection in the shop (it’s taking quite a while). Without much mobile signal or broadband line in our space it’s been a bit hard getting stuff out to the world, but with connection hopefully soon (well by the end of the month at the longest we’ve been told) an onslaught of RAARness will be coming soon….

RAAAAAAAAAAAR BOO!
& we're back, well we never really went away and have been very busy in our new premises in Hayle. Pumpkin carving is one of Angela's favourite past times and as it's a night for things coming back we wanted to start posting again.

Thank you to those who have been to see us and really sorry to those who have been to our old location in St. Ives over the summer and got a bit of a shock as we have relocated to Hayle Foundry Farm. Time has flown by and Angela has been incredibly busy with pottery lessons there in our lovely new studio space. This unfortunately has meant we couldn’t be open normally at the same time due to restrictions. We are currently only open as a shop by appointment, but are planning to make it possible to be RAAR and pottery studio at the same time again. We updating our website and normal service should resume soon!

After a fun 6 years, we have made a move and we have been very busy under the twinkling lights. 2020 has had challenges and changes for everyone and whilst we would normally have been celebrating our birthday and organising December events for the town, instead we were moving around St. Ives Bay to Foundry Farm in Hayle! Due to covid restrictions we haven’t been able to trade as we had in previous years and as the weather gets colder, having another winter with no heating in our shop meant we made the choice to upgrade! Our warm, shiny new space (until Angela covers it in clay) will be open soon, for appointments only. And hopefully soon we will be able to work much more on our online offerings.

Thank you to all the wonderful visitors to our shop since 2014 and all the fun and slightly crazy memories we have made. We have missed a lot of you during 2020 and look forward to seeing you when we can.

The new shop has lots of parking nearby as well as great train and bus links, two pasty shops as well as many other marvellous shops and cafes*, including Chris’s favorite place to get lego. Of course there are also super-awesome beaches that we have probably raved about to anyone that has asked. We hope everyone is doing ok and can have some sort of lovely December.

*The pasty shops and cafes might have had a slight influence in the new location… ;)

We are here and our website is working for anyone that can’t/doesn’t want to come in to see us. We have got some reduced opening hours as Chris is now driving Angela to and from the florist following Government advice to avoid public transport if possible.
Angela is in the florist for Mothers Day - there is still time to order from them and get them delivered.
Obviously the same applies as all the other business posts you have already seen, please don’t come in if you are showing any symptoms. If you are local and want anything we can always send you an online invoice and drop off your order at your home (placed carefully not launched via a catapult) at your door. Or if you are still out and about and want to pop down to see us or to collect pots then please message us on here and we can arrange something. Hopefully we can help to keep people happy and entertained when at home. Don’t forget the Easter holidays are also approaching as well - we will keep monitoring the situation and will add more to our website soon.

You can take a little bit of St. Ives anywhere with you now with this enamel mug. Great for exploring and adventuring, we can’t guarantee sunshine but we're sure there will probably be a few rainbows when you use it ;)

Seen here exploring Sidmouth and its red sea, combined with a rainbow, it’s quite a sight. Parts of the cliffs have fallen recently and added to the brilliant colour of the sea near the shore.
