And this folks is the end, as of today KernowSpa is no longer trading!
15 years of amazing highs and some sad lows, but I wouldn’t change a thing (well maybe the crazy long exhausting hours that have been required on numerous occasions!).
From quitting my job as a cosmetic Chemist in Wiltshire in 2011 and moving back home to Cornwall to start my own business from my kitchen table, it has been a wild unforgettable ride!
4 industrial units, 2 shops, countless local craft fairs, numerous trade fairs at the NEC and London Olympia, being invited to sell on Notonthehighstreet, selling to Royalty/tv stars/film stars/footballers, lots of beauty awards, over 200 stockists from around the UK, a national TV advert….what a journey I have been on! And I have been lucky enough to do it all with my amazing husband Laurence who I cannot thank enough for helping me and supporting me and growing the business over the years, I love you darling 🥰
Also thank you to our parents who have always been so supportive, friends and family who have understood our long working hours, my great friend Kate for interpreting my visions and coming up with the perfect designs, our amazing stockists for showcasing our Cornish wares, and especially our wonderful customers. Without you none of this would have been possible. Some of you have shopped with me from the very beginning, when the packaging and product range looked very different, but you still loved the products!
As I have said previously a few best selling products like Cornwall Coast/Cornwall Beach candles/diffusers etc will be continuing under our sister business Sandy Shores brand, so please give the page a follow if you are interested in these.
This page will be changing to my new business soon so stick around to see what I am up to next! It will free up a lot of my time so that I can care for my mum which is my main priority. But I am excited for my next chapter and I can’t wait for you all to see what is coming next ☺️
For now for me it’s more time with my mum and taking some time to breathe instead of running myself ragged!
