THIS WEEK'S MAKES ...
At our crochet groups this week, held at Sew Lovely (39 Furnace Lane, Loscoe, DE75 7LD) we have:-
Pemberley the Halloween Bear 🐻
Crochet Ribbon 🎀 Xmas Dec's
Kawaii Christmas 🎄 Tree
Gingerbread Xmas Trees
And, of course, our wonderful Lord-a-leaping (part of our 13 week project which commences this evening 😀)
Just £10 per session, includes free colour pattern (* excluding Lord-a-leaping) ...
yarn used to start the project at group is included (* excluding Lord-a-leaping), but yarn required to complete the project (away from group) must be purchased (sold at cost at £1.50 per 50g ball, or part thereof)xx

OPTION 2 .... incoming ...

Here it is, a little later than hoped, and I still have one more toadstool on the hook to complete this set, but I am soooo tired and wanted to make this post this evening.

This will be OPTION 2 (of 3!!) from our
"Pumpkins and Toadstools" Workshop on Saturday, 3rd October (10am until 4pm at Sew Lovely, Loscoe) ... which comprises of :
Medium pumpkin 🎃
Medium acorn
Three varying sizes of toadstool with oddments of yarn leftover for some optional autumn 🍂 leaves.

There's a new stitch and a trick or two to learn within this option, too, and all will be revealed at the workshop on 3rd October.

What do you think about the colours? Too bright, too soft, or just right?

PUMPKINS 🎃 ...

Well, here's OPTION 1 (of 3!!) to choose from at our upcoming

a Trio of Pumpkins 🎃, featuring
Spider 🕷 stitch (brown pumpkin)
Wheat stitch (green pumpkin) and
Bobble stitch (orange pumpkin) ...
Learn new stitches to add to your crochet repertoire and how to make these beautiful pumpkin leaves and tendrils ...

AND ..... we're back!
CROCHET GROUPS this week at Sew Lovely on
WEDNESDAY evening 6pm until 8pm and
FRIDAY morning 10am until 12 noon.
Come along and join in the fun!
Our regular members are starting our new Christmas project this week "The 12 Days of Christmas" and we are starting with the Lord-a-leaping. We will make a new character each week, until we have made the full set of 13 decorations, either for our Christmas 🎄 Tree, or garland x

SEPTEMBER ... the months are rollercoastering by ...
NO CROCHET GROUPS this week at Sew Lovely as we're away this week.
Crochet group will restart on Wednesday 9th September and Friday 11th September, when we shall be starting our "Twelve Days of Christmas" project 😀

LEARN NEW STITCHES to add to your crochet repertoire, at our next crochet workshop, "Pumpkins and Toadstools" (£35) on Saturday 3rd October at Sew Lovely in Loscoe (DE75 7LD).

I shall soon be making a trio of textured pumpkins with my samples of spider 🕷 stitch (in brown), bobble stitch (in orange) and wheat stitch (in green) and can't wait for you to see them.

At the workshop, you will be able to choose which project you would like to make on the day, from:

1. A trio of textured pumpkins
2. An autumnal trio of "granny" stitch items: pumpkin, acorn (large) and toadstool (all featuring "long treble stitch")
3. A large, whimsical fly agaric 🍄 toadstool with mini pixie/fairy

It will be a fabulous day at the inspirational Sew Lovely garden workshop and I can't wait for you to join me! Please book your place early (to avoid disappointment!!) X

CARAVAN CLUB ... update:

Our caravans at crochet group are really coming along now, and I am looking forward to getting them all together for a "holiday park" photoshoot ... meanwhile, here's my (well, it's my granddaughter's now, lol) caravan, with the Maileg mice living their best life! 😁 😂 😀

BEHIND THE SCENES ... working hard on the samples for the next crochet workshop at Sew Lovely on Saturday 3rd October, 10am until 4pm: "Pumpkins and Toadstools" (£35).

There will be a trio of Pumpkins which you can choose to make, which feature textured stitches such as bobble stitch, wheat stitch and spider 🕷 stitch, OR, if toadstools are your thing, then there will be a large, whimsical fly agaric to hook up, together with it's friend, the Granny 👵 mushroom.

Oh, and Rosehip the Hare kits will be available from 9th September, if you would like a kit (as pictured) please let me know. Thank you 😊
