I'm an independent children's picture book illustrator based in Ilkeston, who also offers commissions, designs greetings cards and also creates Story Calendars.
Storytelling through illustration is my passion and I have been working as an illustrator full time for 4 years now.

I’ve set a business networking site up on Facebook & Instagram.

If your a business and would like to join us head over to the Facebook or Instagram page and get yourself listed.

Do not worry if you are a small business outside Amber Valley you are more than welcome to join… we will not turn any small business away.

What we do..

We actively seek members business posts out and regularly share to groups, stories and wherever else we can share. Also we can provide free of charge business advice and guidance to members that are struggling in any way.

It’s totally free of charge to all businesses, we sometimes will ask for a small donation to use for paid advertising on the Facebook & Instagram platforms but your under no obligation to donate.. we know times are tough out their.

At the moment it’s new and it’s small and for it to work we need to get as many as possible small businesses listed as possible and for users to actively promote themselves on the relevant platforms.

Come join our network of businesses that want a great online presence, we will be constantly sharing to Instagram and Facebook giving a much needed boost to you all.

With the decline of the high streets and with no help from local councils we could all do with that little extra boost. My own two businesses will be listed and I invite everyone in the Amber Valley to come on board, every business is welcome so please message us via wattsap on 07736008248

What does it cost?

It’s free, completely free to everyone but we do ask that if you can make a small donation into a pool fund to help us advertise on the Instagram and Facebook platforms. No commitment, no looking down on anyone and no hassle, you choose your donation and this will be paid into at the end of each month so I can plan advertising strategy.

This is a non profit based platform and all donations raised goes into helping the Instagram and Facebook platforms grow, I’m doing this completely free of charge to try help local businesses.

Just want to thank everyone who has supported our fledgling online department store so far. We are a long way off where we want to be so just to keep you updated on our progress..

We started with the name “Asylum Rooms” and with quite a bit of feedback we decided at this early stage to switch the name to “Urban Boutique” this was because people actually thought we were involved somehow with asylum seekers 🤣🤣
Anyway the new name and colour scheme reflects better to what we are, other feedback we received was taken into account and various changes made.
Over the next few months we will be adding new boutiques with a wide variety of quality items and if any of you are a product based business selling new items and want to join us please get in touch.

We always want your feedback so please keep telling us of things you want to see for sale within our store and I’ll see if I can make that happen…

Hi everyone, thank you for looking at our mugs..

we hope you enjoy our mugs some are a little risqué but all done with a smile. All our mugs are the premium 11oz and are dishwasher and microwave safe.

If this is a gift for someone we can ship this direct to them if you let us know the relevant name and address. ❤️

We try where possible to help the environment as much as we can and used special inks and all our postal boxes are shipped using recycled cardboard with environmentally friendly tapes.

These Mugs are made by us in house so we are not shipping them in from far flung corners of the world and we are a British business.
