I’m Kaley, chief painter and creator of personalised peg dolls. Family Doodle Doo began back in 2014 when I first painted some peg people for a family member, and then started experimenting with different peg characters. Fast forward to now, and you can find me on a day to day basis sat at my custom made desk, painting away. Each peg doll is made from solid wood, and they come in a variety of size

s, to create pegs of all ages! Each peg is lovingly hand painted by me, and then varnished for the perfect finish. They are personalised with hair colour, and you can add features such as glasses etc. The colours and clothes design are all down to what you would like. I’m also happy to help with any creative ideas or colour schemes if required. Whilst these do look great for little hands to play with, these are purely decorative items, and not toys.

Our Story

From a simple blank, solid wood peg, I lovingly create personalised peg people . A whole host of different characters can be done. From personalised pegs for families, through to animals, and everything in between, these make the perfect gift.

Our favourite customer option is to have these characters attached to a real wood slice, but you can also have the option to have them framed (numbers permitting), or freestanding. These lovely little characters are for decorative use only, and are not to be used as toys.
