🌈🧵 LOOK WHAT’S STARTING TO APPEAR…

The first patches for our One Patch. Your Pride community quilt have arrived, and honestly… we’re already a little bit emotional.

Crochet, patchwork, colour, creativity, personality, stories… every piece is completely different, and that’s exactly the point. ❤️

These wonderful first contributions are now hanging proudly in our window, giving everyone a glimpse of what this community project could become when hundreds of individual voices are stitched together.

And the best bit?

There’s still plenty of time to get involved.

Whether you’re a seasoned quilter, an enthusiastic crocheter, a knitter, an embroiderer, or someone who just fancies having a go, we’d love to add your patch to the quilt.

The only rule is that your piece should be a multiple of 15cm (15x15cm, 15x30cm, 30x30cm etc.) so we can join everything together.

🐑 Sid The Sheep has been appointed Official Patch Inspector and reports that:
“The standard is already worryingly high. I may need a clipboard.”

🎉 FREE WORKSHOP PLACES AVAILABLE!

We’re excited to offer our lovely followers a limited number of FREE places for our Puppet and Flag Making Workshops, delivered with Handmade Productions as part of this year’s Happy Valley Pride Festival and leading up to our Decade Parade.

Workshop dates:
🗓 11 June | 6:30–9:00pm
🗓 17 June | 6:30–9:00pm
🗓 24 June | 6:30–9:00pm
🗓 5 July | 1:00–4:00pm

📍 Handmade Productions, Hebden Bridge, HX7 8LN

Places are very limited, available on a first come, first served basis, and are open to adults aged 18+ only.

We may have accidentally fallen in love with these new knitting kits… 😍🧶

Beautifully designed by , these Morris-inspired kits are giving “rainy Hebden afternoon with tea and no responsibilities” energy.

Everything’s included, the colours are gorgeous, and they make brilliant gifts for knitters… or a very convincing excuse to start another project yourself.

Greg said he was “just unpacking stock” and somehow spent 20 minutes stroking the yarn thoughtfully like he was in a period drama.

Meanwhile Sid The Sheep has appointed himself Head of Quality Control and refuses to let any skeins leave the shop without approval 🐑

Pop in and have a look before we “accidentally” keep them all. 😝

Everything’s included, the instructions are genuinely lovely, and they make brilliant gifts too 💛

Honestly, there’s something very satisfying about sitting down with a cup of tea and stabbing fabric for a few hours in a socially acceptable way.
