This is still one of my best memories of running Something Sweet over the years ❤️

When we were closed following the Boxing Day floods of 2015, the kids of Hebden Bridge ran a pop up sweet shop, to raise some money for us. (Helped along the way by some wonderful parents, Debbie & Mark Coup of Welcome Independent Living who hosted the pop up space, and some very generous sweet suppliers.

The children came in and presented us with a bag of money (which was so generously matched by McCarthy & Stone, the developers of Leedham Court- named after Bob ❤️) As they did, they said, “we wanted to save Something Sweet”
….. my heart just melted. ###

During the chaos that’s wholesalers day, I tell Graham to stop for a pic, cos I said he looks like he’s carrying a girder!

Carry on now, you’ve only got another half a van to unload! 🙊
