Its that time of year, and the Hebden Bridge WI Rag Market is here again. Its a day of meeting up with other makers, catching up with friends and finding that perfect bargain. Make sure you have an extra bag with you, as there is always just another piece of fabric which you can't live without. You can find me at The Making Mill with lots of textiles, zips buttons and a couple of machines.

We are looking forward to welcoming Heather back to our Hebden Bridge WI Rag Market on Saturday 25th April, where she will be selling from her own stash at our The Making Mill venue.

My final project whilst studying with Johnathan just happened to have an Oscar sat on the shelf which finished the look perfectly. Draping 12 meters of orange taffeta was a challenge, the colour is amazing, and it looks stunning on Sopie.

My amazing friend Kirstie has been on an adventure, completing the Montane Artic Spine challenge in Sweden. I did a few sewing alterations for her, making sure her kit fit and kept her warm in temperatures of -35

My corset project for An amazing 12 week course which I have just completed. I love how this has turned out.

I do hope that spring is on the way. I love the springtime, which means that bridesmaids and prom dresses are being fitted for that occasion. If you have an event coming up, book in to make sure you have a fitting.

Friday evening, and I'm pattern drafting! It becomes slightly obsessive, addictive even. Creating something from within which you never knew existed.

Military bottoms. These trouser bottoms are slightly higher at the front of the leg than the back. It adds a straight finish, without a creased trouser leg resting on the shoe. An incredibly smart look.
