Here’s one I prepared for a customer earlier…… our total was £31.55 so I went online to see how much the same shop would cost at Tesco . I chose a mixture of similar eco products like ecover and method (who aren’t as eco as they’d like you to believe because their parent company still tests on animals amongst other things, but we digress) and the total was £39.68. Next I looked at well known non eco brands like fairy, persil, flash and comfort and surprisingly the total was £42.30 !!! Looks like we’re cheaper by £8 so if I can get over 30likes and comments for this post I will donate £8 to charity so get your mates and your auntie plus all your friends and family to like and comment on the post please. 🙏 . I know it’s asking a lot but a share would be the icing on the cake! Did you also know that my lovely customer droppped the empties, went off and did something much nicer than shopping came back and it was all ready for them. So it literally took 3min to do a full shop. We can have it delivered via our lovely friend Alex from Cargodale

This plate of loveliness has been created by Christy who you may have met recently. She's training to work at the shop when I spend time recovering from having a new knee. It's full of herbs and spices from the shop, peanut butter, olive and rapeseed oils. Of course these are all to be found at the shop as well.

What’s your chosen Sunday breakfast? My personal fave is pancakes. You can get all of your breakfast delicacies here at the shop. Porridge with lovely bits and bobs, (fruit, nuts and seeds), our deluxe muesli is jolly nice and naked granola is delish.

Are crisps one of your 5 a day? Discuss ……… These fabulous Two Farmers are in compostable packaging so my crisp addiction is now less ethically dodgy but does that mean it’s ok to eat twice as many?

Hello, hello, hello. Back in stock EVENTUALLY our chocolate delicacies. So we have dark choc Brazils, cocoa dusted almonds, dark chocolate honeycomb and milk chocolate honeycomb and cocoa dusted almonds. All of our dark chocolate is dairy free as you’d expect but everything is palm oil free as well. Something we very much approve of . Why not nip in and show your appreciation

Did you know we have six different kinds of rice on offer here at Weightsted. My favourite is the short grain brown rice. I love it in savoury dishes and for rice pud with a cinnamon stick added - I know it’s normally nutmeg but who aspires to be normal ? Certainly not me 🙃
