I’ve been inspired by one of our customers who has been in the shop twice this week for cat friendly bunches. We have looked up what’s classed as “safe” for cats and have been making these lovely bouquets of mixed summer flowers.

A gorgeous selection of gerbera, garden rose, statice, stock and antirrhinum all ready to go!

Can you believe it?

Our Rach is 50!!!! 🥳

It was actually last week but Rachel was whisked away to celebrate her special day, so we had to catch up today instead.

I don’t think my singing impressed Rachel that much but at least she had a stack of shortbread and a candle to blow out.

Thank you to everyone that has supported Erin’s final fundraiser for her trip to Kenya 🇰🇪

We are delighted to let you know we have reached our target and beyond!! So, with the extra money raised we are going to buy some treats for the children at the school.

Erin and I did make a video of the raffle draw but we got an attack of the giggles and so what should’ve been a 2 minute reel turned into about 15 minutes🤦🏼‍♀️ That’s too long for us to post and would’ve taken forever to edit it down, so I’ll just pop the winners in the comments⬇️⬇️⬇️

Everyone has been notified of their prizes this morning, so if you didn’t receive a message, I’m sorry, you haven’t won but thank you for buying the tickets. We are so grateful and appreciate everybody’s help with the raffle, bonus balls, bake sales and fitness fundraisers 🙏

My daughter Erin is going on a volunteer trip this Summer to a school in Nakuru, Kenya where she will be sports coaching and doing a building project.

She has been raising money for the last 18 months and has almost reached her target 🎯 🙌🏼

Her final fundraiser is a raffle where you could win this fabulous St.Eval candle hamper, a bouquet of flowers from yours truly!, a Rosie Made a Thing mug and various other prizes.

If you would like to support her, raffle tickets are £1 each or £5 per strip. You can comment or message on our socials or pop into the shop.

The raffle will be drawn this Friday 1st May. Any prizes won must be collected from the shop.

I wanted to share with you a beautiful casket spray I created for a special lady’s farewell service.

The lady always preferred plants over flowers so it seemed fitting to include some tête à tête narcissi and violas which could be planted at a later date. They were complimented with an abundance of Spring flowers to bring the whole arrangement together.

It was so lovely to receive a message from the family to afterwards. “Claudette, thank you so much for the beautiful arrangements and all you did. Everyone said they were stunning. Thank you for making them so special and bespoke”.

I seem to be struggling updating my opening hours on Google, so thought I’d let you know on here that we are open as normal on Good Friday and Easter Saturday and taking orders for your Easter flowery treats 🌸🌷🌻

We’ll be closed on Easter Sunday and Monday but back open bright and early at 9am on Tuesday 7th April.

We’ll have plenty of fresh flowers and plants but if you are wanting anything specific please order in advance…it helps us plan our week when we have to factor in the bank holidays 😎
