It’s not every day when you recognise a customer and it’s the one wonderful teacher who has always stuck in your mind who taught you at primary school! She remembered me too! And yes, it was a very long time ago!!

It’s publication day for A New Dawn at Brightwater Falls today, the first book in my new series set at a lakeside lodge retreat. In it you’ll meet sisters Imo, Kate and Ally who don’t have the best relationship! When they’re thrown together to rescue the retreat, will they survive or will they thrive?

Copies are available in the shop today and we’re having a little get together this evening. All welcome. Nothing formal, just the chance to spend time with friends old and new.

We’ll be closing as normal at 4.30pm to give us chance to have a tidy up!

Wow! What a day!

Thanks to everyone who came to see us on 📚

Ollie and I have been run off our feet and it’s been brilliant!

We really are so grateful 🙏 and my heart is full ❤️

We will be open as normal from 10-1.30 tomorrow and will still have 20% stickers on selected books and will sell all pre-loved books for £1 each again.

Not only is it today, it’s also .

Last Friday night, we had the pleasure of a very honest and inspiring talk from AMANDA PROWSE and her son Josh who wrote The Boy Between, a book abo Driving Rosie Hot tub ut their journey from a world gone grey.

They are both very open and honest about depression and the book is for anyone with depression and anyone who loves someone with depression. Amanda and Josh have a clear message - you are not alone, and there is hope.

There are signed copies available in store and there is 20% off each copy today.
