What started as “shall we sell some plants online?” has escalated considerably 😂

100+ orders packed, plants everywhere, questionable levels of sanity remaining and genuinely, THANK YOU 💚

🌿 WE’RE HIRING — EXPERIENCED PLANT PACKER 🌿

Things are getting seriously busy behind the scenes at Poetry in Flowers, and we’re ready to add another brilliant pair of hands to our team.

With our TikTok LIVE community and online sales continuing to build momentum, we need someone who knows their way around plants AND packing.

This isn’t just putting things in boxes.
Our plants need to arrive looking just as beautiful as when they left us.

We’re looking for someone who understands that.

We’re looking for someone with:

🌿 Previous packing / order fulfilment experience
🌿 Good houseplant knowledge
🌿 Confidence handling delicate and unusual plants
🌿 Excellent attention to detail
🌿 A fast, organised way of working
🌿 Pride in getting every order right

📍 Hednesford, Staffordshire
⏰ Part-time with additional hours during busy periods
💷 Competitive hourly rate + performance incentives
🌱 Immediate start available

You’ll be working behind the scenes helping us fulfil orders from our TikTok LIVE sales and other online channels, giving us the capacity to do even more of what’s driving the business forward.

🌿 We're Hiring! General Shop Assistant 🌿

Do you love plants, enjoy keeping busy and take pride in getting the little things right?

We're looking for a General Shop Assistant to join the team at Poetry in Flowers!

This is a varied role where no two days are the same! Duties will include:
🌱 Packing and preparing customer plant orders 🪴 Watering and caring for our houseplants
📦 Receiving and organising stock
💻 General administration
🏪 Keeping the shop looking its best
😊 Helping provide excellent customer service
🌸 Assisting with day-to-day tasks as needed

We're looking for someone who is:
✔️ Reliable and organised
✔️ Happy working independently and as part of a small team
✔️ Keen to learn about plants (experience is a bonus but not essential)
✔️ Comfortable using a computer for basic admin tasks
✔️ Positive, hardworking and willing to get stuck in

Today we celebrate another year of marriage, but also another year of building a life together 🤍

We didn't just promise to love each other, we promised to face whatever life threw at us as a team 💪🏻

Over the years we've celebrated incredible highs, worked through challenges, taken risks, learnt lessons and built a business we're so proud of. Every bouquet we've created, every wedding we've flowered, every TikTok Live, every late night and early morning... we've done it side by side ☯️

Being married and running a business together isn't always easy, but I wouldn't want to do it with anyone else 💞

Thank you for always believing in us, in our dreams, and in what we're building together.
