Hello customers and supporters.
Please note that due to current COVID-19 situation our lovely shop will be closing at end of business Saturday 21st March. Oxfam has made this decision to protect our precious volunteers, staff and customers. We shall return!

Hello customers and supporters.

Due to current Covid-19 situation our shop will be open reduced hours over the coming weeks.
We plan to open as follows:
Wednesday 1-4pm
Thursday 9-1pm
Friday 9-5pm
Saturday 9-5pm

These hours are subject to change and we apologise for any disappointment or inconvenience.

If you have a donation to drop off, the manager should be in the building Wed-Sat 9-5pm. So please knock loudly as I may be working in a back room. (I am however on annual leave Mon 23rd March-Friday 27th March). If in doubt ring ahead to see if anyone is around on 01439 772394.

is seeking Saturday volunteers. Can you give us a few hours of your time on a Saturday morning or afternoon? We have shop floor roles or behind the scenes if you prefer rummaging through our great donations. Full training given, travel expenses and lunch expenses if you can give a whole day. Great way to gain experience, even NVQs, good company & cake! Pop in or call on 01439 772394😀😀

First day back at work for 2018? We wanted to wish you a Happy New Year! And say a huge thank you for all your support in 2017 - as this video shows, together we really can make a difference. Lets make 2018 even better!

In 2017, Oxfam supporters took on poverty every single day. You got clean water running to keep vulnerable families safe in countries like Yemen and Bangladesh. You helped people find new ways to earn a living and build a better future – everywhere from the streets and slums of Nairobi, to a giant refugee settlement in Uganda. And you helped women around the world to challenge discrimination and reach their full potential. However you did it, thank you for joining the fight against poverty this year. Together, we will beat it for good.
