Every day is extraordinary running a small independent shop.

It’s been busy with lots of regular customers and visitors popping in to browse or make a purchase.
For every person who comes through the door, recommends us and supports us in some way, we genuinely do appreciate it here at Wick & Wood.

This afternoon, a customer came in and purchased an abundance of beautiful pieces from a selection of talented artists, and we would like to tag these artists - for good reason.

Your work stood out.

It was chosen because it will be used for an interior design project by Gunter of London based . (No, they don’t follow us….yet…😆 so you’ll have to punch in the name on FB or Insta if you’re curious!)
All we can say is thank you for choosing our little shop in Meneage Street, Helston. ☺️🙏

Anna from Cober Valley Silver popped in this morning with a small addition to her collection of sterling silver jewellery here at Wick & Wood.

The classic sleepers, one pair with a mini pearl and one pair with a mini star are perfect!
And something a little different; two lovely pairs of threader earrings, one with a pretty leaf design and the other with that classic pearl design. Thanks Anna..😊

Michelle Long of knits the most wonderful colourful range in different sizes, to cater for varying feet. She also knits ballerina slippers which are great for padding around the home.

All available to purchase in our little shop which is open 10am until 4.30pm Tuesday to Saturday.

Morning Folks…😊

At Wick & Wood we are regularly approached by artists of all fields of creativity, and it gives us that warm fuzzy feeling to know that these artisans would like to be a part of our journey.

Today we welcome Kernow Queen Jane Marks with her beautiful collection of signed cards and prints, available to purchase in our lovely shop.

Jane also makes gorgeous lampshades, and we shall be offering a selection of these in due course.

Wick and Wood, based in Meneage Street Helston, is open 10am until 4.30pm Tuesday to Saturday and we look forward to welcoming you. 😊

Wow what a great summer we have had ☀️.

I have been busy making this week, here are just a few new pieces ready for my markets this week. I will be in the Porthleven Shipyard market this Saturday, Sunday, Thursday 5th,6th and 10th September and St Ives Farmers market on Monday 7th September.

I also have lots of new pieces to restock my space in Wick & Wood in Helston this week
