If we have a full house with a queue at 4 p.m. then we may stop admissions at that time. Watch our page on the day.
The BOOK CLUB IS CLOSED DURING the WEEK. It opens only on the appointed weekends. Anyone who turns up at the warehouse outside of the appointed weekends will be TURNED AWAY.
PLENTY of CHOICE for book lovers on two warehouse floors:
Books for CHILDREN, tots to teens.
PAPERBACK FICTION titles. Many genres.
PLENTY of Non FICTION titles too. Coffee table, Art, Cookery, gardening, Fashion, Mind-Body-Spirit and much more.
Also, stationery, jigsaw puzzles, board games and more.
We don't have the latest releases or academic books
If you tell anyone about the Book Club please make sure that they know the correct opening dates. They will be turned away if they turn up during the week or on the wrong weekend.

PLEASE DO NOT BLOCK the entrances to other businesses while in the car queue.
SPEED LIMIT! 5 MPH. Both in our car park and the approach road.
YOU SIGN-UP for membership at the book club during one of the appointed weekends ONLY. No signing-up online.
EVERY MEMBER, new and previously signed-up, must scan the LOGIN at the checkout. Any problems with membership, then the staff at the checkout will help you.
Smeikalbooks: The Book Club does not do online sales but you might like to take a look at www.smeikalbooks.co.uk who carry much of our stock for online sales.
COFFEE / Crepes: Keep an eye out for the coffee wagon just inside our gate.

TITLE Searches. We do not do title searches.
PLEASE NOTE: The Book Club operates on two warehouse floors but it can become quite WARM, especially on the upper floor, during the hot weather. We have fans placed around the showroom and you are welcome to bring Screw top bottles of water or flasks into the showroom. But please no flimsy paper cups or cans. No food allowed into the showroom.
