Massive shout to Next Saturday these mad lads are skating from Berko, all the way to Victoria Park Skatepark to raise some money for The Ben Raemers Foundation I’m sure a lot of you know the story but for those that don’t. Ben Raemers achieved the almost impossible goal of turning pro for a huge US company. He was by all accounts, living the dream. I had seen Ben skate in person a few times and chatted to him in passing. He was incredibly funny, caring and unbelievably gnarly. His su***de was an enormous shock to the entire skate scene, especially in the U.K. The Ben Raemers Foundation are committed to helping skateboarders access mental health support and to destigmatising the conversations around mental health and su***de.
