🐝💜 The bees are loving the comfrey today! 💜🐝

The comfrey plants in the garden are covered in these beautiful purple flowers, and the bees just can’t seem to get enough of them 🌸✨

It’s amazing to watch them moving from flower to flower, collecting nectar and pollen throughout the day 🐝💚

Comfrey is not only a fantastic plant for the garden, but it’s also a great food source for pollinators, making it a win-win for wildlife and gardeners alike 🌿🌼

Seeing so many bees visiting is a great reminder of how important it is to include pollinator-friendly plants in our gardens 🌍💛

🐝🌿 Exciting news at Meadowtail Farm! 🌿🐝

We’ve finally got our first hive in place! 🎉

Not all of it is shown in the picture, but this is the start of our beekeeping journey, and we’re now looking to populate it with some honey bees 🐝🍯

If you spot a swarm that needs collecting, or know of anyone with a colony that’s looking to split and has a few bees to spare, please let us know 😊

We’re keen to give them a good home and continue learning as we build the apiary side of Meadowtail Farm.

We’re looking to connect with other friendly, reliable dog walking businesses locally 🐶🌿

As Meadowtail Farm continues to grow, we understand that sometimes availability doesn’t always match what a customer needs. Rather than simply saying “sorry, we can’t help”, we’d love to have trusted local contacts we can recommend.

We’re looking for a backup dog walking partnership — if someone comes to us and we don’t have availability, we can pass them your details, and hopefully you can do the same for us 💚

It’s all about supporting each other, helping local businesses, and making sure dogs still get the care and walks they need 🐕🚶‍♂️

🚜🌿 We went to the Hertfordshire County Show this weekend and it was amazing! 🌿🚜

There was so much to see and do 👀

We got to:
🍔 Try loads of food and drink tasters
🛍️ Buy some lovely local food and drinks from the stalls
🎪 Watch some brilliant shows and displays
🚜 See a fantastic mix of old and new tractors, steam engines, and farm vehicles

It’s always inspiring seeing all the machinery and ideas that would be amazing to have one day as Meadowtail Farm continues to grow 🌱💚

Definitely a great day out and nice to see so many people enjoying everything agriculture and countryside related 🙌

It’s amazing seeing how much wildlife these flowers attract once they start blooming 🌿✨
From bees to other little pollinators, the marigolds are definitely proving popular 🐝💚
