A whole month. 31 days of Jonah.
At times it’s felt like it’s flown by, (how are you growing out of clothes already?), and other moments where time seems to stand still. Grateful for these slower days, learning the new shape and rhythm of our family, and relishing the miniature milestones.

Can’t quite believe these miracles are all ours… if you’d told me our story 7 years ago, I’d have laughed at the impossibility of it all.
And if you don’t know our miracle story… buy me a coffee sometime! 😜

‘3’ weeks to go before baby number 3, we grabbed the chance to celebrate our half anniversary/early valentines/ last pre-baby outing… for a moment there wasn’t sure if baby was going to try to escape in Zizzi’s, but we made it home in one piece,m. Even managed a cheeky supermarket stop on the way home just to get some size 1 nappies for the hospital bag.
Yes, baby was wriggling that much…
No. I’ve not packed a bag yet…
Also- very grateful to this legend for encouraging spontaneity but also for propping me up when I’ve needed it. You’re a legend. Love you babe.

Happy New Year from us Parkies, but also, a VERY happy birthday to the most ancient of us, aka .roundabouts !
The truth to my grace, the Trev to my Simon, the Smoo to my Smed, you help me zoom out when I get overwhelmed in the nitty gritty, create islands of pause when I’m getting swept up in a sea of saying yes, facilitate and encourage me to be creative, joyful and daft.
You’re endlessly creative, you dream big, and make the kids laugh like no one else! Here’s to your new EP out tomorrow, and getting your novel published this year!
Congrats on another trip round the sun, I’m booking on to the next one too please!!

Feels like 37 was an uphill climb to get here.

Part way through each weekend, I start getting a little fizz of excitement ready to teach my next Tuesday Pilates classes.
And isn’t this just the best venue?
My set up looks beautifully at home!

I don’t usually chat about Pilates on this account, but there’s something really satisfying about these pics! Get in touch if you want more info about classes- I’m taking names for the Beginners’ class waiting list atm, (as it’s full but occasional PAYG classes pop up if people are on holiday etc), and I have spaces in my Intermediate/Advanced if you’ve some Pilates experience

Guys! It has been a *week*!!!! 50% of the parky household have been in A&E (admittedly, that’s only 2 people, but it sounds more dramatic right?!), and it’s been a bit of a hot mess!

BUUUUT, hopefully it feels like we’re coming out of the other side of it- just in time for my postponed Macrame Plant Hanger Workshop this Saturday! It’s going to be a heap load of fun £30 gets you everything you need to make a plant hanger, and even a coffee and cake to enjoy while you work!

Because of needing to re-arrange the date (it was originally planned for mid-April) I’ve now got two spaces left (yes, two!), so do get in touch asap, or tag a friend who might be interested, as I’d love to have it full!

‘Learn’

Well here’s a cheeky end of the day post having planned everything early, then done 2 days worth of work in a 14hr day, and completely forgotten what I was going to say!

Today’s prompt was a lesson I’ve learned, and first, as shown by this picture, is to be incredibly careful about leaving a partially sliced chicken cake unattended… and when you *do* make a mistake, choose to see the funny side (or growth opportunity) quickly. It makes it easier on you and everyone around you.

This was Edna, RIP.
We made the genius/crazy decision to ask our 3-year old what birthday cake her dad should have for his 40th. She instantly replied ‘a chicken cake’ so this is what he got. Swipe for photos of Edna before she tried to do a somersault!

And no- cakes are not part of my business- but they’re a big part of family life for us Parkies! 😂
