My works arrived quickly and were all happy and healthy. The dived into the compost and within seconds they were out of sight…I may need to order more soon as the local hegehog gang has discovers how to pull the bottom of the composter off & I suspect some worms may have become lunch!

The worms arrived at the same time as my friend who weighed out the compost worms and counted the earthworms into 8 raised beds 64” square. Even after 50 odd years of gardening I still cannot touch a worm! We’ve set up a small terracotta wormery in each bed using orchid pots and lids and given each one some bokashi treated veggies to munch on. I’ve put a piece of moisture mat under each lid. All seems ok so far, I have 4 more raised beds to convert later on.
