Forget the usual stag do activities — bring the lads to the forge and forge your own swords together! Spend the day around the fire, hammering hot steel, learning new skills and, most importantly, having a good laugh along the way.

Sometimes, the finer details are the most rewarding, and a little more time spent perfecting that perfect scroll makes all the difference.

It's not just about the end result, but about the journey, the process, and the satisfaction you get from knowing you've put in the effort. No amount of hard hitting will make that happen, it takes time, patience, and a willingness to learn and improve to do it. You need to be willing to slow down, take a step back, and focus on the little things that make a big difference.

Behind every great experience is a great blacksmith, and our team are here to make sure you get the most out of your time at the forge. With expert knowledge, years of experience and plenty of patience, our blacksmiths will guide you through every step of your chosen experience — from your first strike of the hammer to putting those final touches on your creation.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some experience already, our tutors will adapt their teaching to suit you, helping you learn new skills while making sure you’re having fun along the way.

Before any axe or hammer is ready to be handled, there are some important finishing steps to make sure it’s safe, strong and ready for use.

Here you can see one of those final stages, using a blowtorch to carefully heat-treat the steel. This helps give the metal the right balance of hardness and toughness, reducing the risk of the head cracking or shattering when it’s struck.

It might look like we’re simply putting a little more heat into the steel, but there’s a lot of knowledge and care behind the process.

From the first heat in the forge to the final finishing touches, every step matters when creating a tool that’s built to last. 🔥⚒️
