‘The Bell Tower’
Ink on watercolour postcard.
I’m currently working on an illustration for a custom order but in between, while I’m waiting for paint to dry I painted this little graveyard piece. The tower is based on a photo I took of the old Bell tower of St Mary’s Church in Hornsey Churchyard, North London, it dates back to the 13th century and is all that remains of the church.
The temptation to add little ghosts nearly got the better of me!

I’ve been to the Yorkshire moors and I can confirm that it is both wily and windy.
So here is my little tribute to Wuthering Heights, the film that everyone is talking about. I saw it Friday and it is a stunning piece of art.
