Welcome to the official City Animalz page, a family of colourful "stylised animal characters with attitude" from a land far, far away. A concept created and developed by Bristol based artist, designer and printmaker Jess ‘TKLS’. Drawing and painting original artwork by hand, Jess is inspired by the detail and complexity of the natural world. Her wonder at its beauty and concern for its fu

ture influences the materials and print techniques she selects to design and make unique ethical and sustainable products. The City Animalz, come from another dimension and have a story of their own to share. Jess is taking on the role of explorer and naturalist to study and describe their world and is looking forward to showcasing her findings at some of the UKs best festivals this summer. Jess would like to thank everyone who has supported her and her animal family so far and hopes you are excited by what may come next.

So as some of you may have seen we have made the decision to move out of our permanent space - This is to give Jess more time for adventures and the flexibility to focus on creativity. We have really enjoyed being part of the St. Nicks Market indoor community and would like to thank them very much for giving us the experience of trading inside the Exchange Hall over the last couple of years. Thanks to everyone who has supported us over our time here ❤️ we will keep you all posted about which markets we will popping up on over the coming months, including the St. Nicks street market 🫶

We have so many wooden parts that didn’t quite make the cut to be made and sold as our totem tiger jewellery…

Soooo, we are selling them all for an absolute bargain!!!

We thought it would be such a waste to chuck it all away or leave it in our cupboards gathering dust when there is so much potential still for them. It’s always best to recycle and up-cycle!!

Come down to St Nicks to grab yourself some whilst you can and if you end up making anything with them send a pic to us- we’d love to see your creations!
