Our nursery has been operating from this site for nearly 25 years. It first launched in 1997 and was in the hands of the original owners until August 2015, when it was taken over by Michele and Simon who moved to Madley with their three boys, Harry, George & Jim.

Our pansies and violas were basking in the sun today 😎 If you fancy a bit of outside time in the sunshine this weekend why not add “Freshen up the pots” to your list of things to do! We’ve got heaps of pansies and violas in trays of 6, all just £4 a tray or 3 trays for £10 👌 Loads of great compost available too if you need a top up. We’ll be here each and every day from 10am until 4pm. Just for you 👍

Our pansy baskets are filling out nicely and these flowers are tougher than you might think! No amount of cold or snow will finish them off and if you keep dead heading they’ll flower right through to the spring. 😁 We’ve still got our trays of six of pansies, violas and wall flowers at £4 each or three trays for £10. That’s 18 plants for just a tenner 👍
We are open every day from 10-4. See you soon 😎

All packed up for a very pretty delivery this afternoon. A flatbed full of blue and white perennials and grasses, a truck full of compost and tree stakes and the trailer has 20 trees that have gone through our Christmas tree netting machine for added protection. If you’re planning a big revamp of your garden, then please pop in for a chat. We deliver too. 😘
As always we’re open every day from 10-4 and fingers crossed the Clehonger roadworks will be finished today 🤞🥳

A few people suggested that perhaps September was a bit early to start talking about Christmas and that's fair enough. But it's October now so that's OK right? Oh, and we're not talking specifically about Christmas but about making Christmas wreaths anyway 😁. It's been a busy week for booking and as we're over half full, now might be a good time to book yourself a spot on one of our courses. In fact, why not mention it to your mates and bring some of them along too? You could join Catherine or Jenny or Helen or Kate or Julie who have all recently signed up! Why no chaps 🤔? Availability can be found using this link www.madleyplants.co.uk/wreaths or via our link in bio or you can book up in person at the nursery if you'd rather. Hope you enjoyed the nice sunny weather today, tomorrow's looking pretty good too 😎

Sorry, bit of a dull but important post...looks like we're in for a week of roadworks next week, Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm in Clehonger from The Seven Stars on the east of the village into the Eaton Bishop boundary to the west. It'll mean the access to the Clehonger/Kingstone Road won't be accessible so getting to us from the east will need to be via the A465 heading south west to Locks Garage, then up through Thruxton & Kingstone to Madley as per the attached map (suggested route in red). A bit of a pain admittedly but we're sure they have good reason 🤔. So it might take a little longer, but we're worth it, honest 😁. As usual, we'll be here then, and over this weekend, from 10-4 every day 👍

Oh! Look what’s on tomorrow, it’s the Wormside Ploughing Match at the Merryhill Farm Buildings on the Callow Road, Belmont. As well as vintage and modern day tractors there is stunning horse ploughing and the domestic classes too. Who has grown the most beautiful dahlias, largest pumpkin, tastiest tomatoes and what about the Victoria Sandwiches 🏆😁
The fun starts from 10am.

We are so happy to have 🐕🐩🐾 back. Super dogs in again, lively Margot kept still for a nano second, Rosie was keen to obey but wanted to say hi to everyone on site and Sol. A returning favourite, Sol, was so naughty at training this week that he wasn't let out of the car 😂 Welcome to Sprocket, a first visit from this sweet Romanian rescue. All dogs are welcome at on the lead. 😁 See you soon for winter bedding, spring bulbs and autumn colour. We are open every day from 10-4.
