BOX CATERPILLAR!!

There has been a surge in these buggers across the N.West this year and I've already seen several box shrubs affected.

Once it gets to a point there is little option but to remove the shrubs entirely ☠️🐛.

There are preventative treatments available but once they are in, it's hard to resolve.

Have a thorough check of your box hedges/shrubs and if there are any signs (webbing similar to spiders web, browning of leaves and actual caterpillars themselves) then action is needed.

We are available for any removals that are needed and can always pop and take a look if you're unsure.

Lawn renovation part 2 in Heswall, Wirral today.

After a heavy scarification today's jobs were seeding, feeding, top dressing and over seeding.

Two things I definitely need to invest in are a lawn lute and a compost/soil roller. But for today i went down the more labour intensive route.

Happy with the progress and looking forward to seeing the results in a few weeks.

Hedge trimming over at Sandstone Dental practice yesterday in the gorgeous Wirral sunshine 👌.

Scarification job in Heswall this morning.

Coming to the end of the 1st window this year to get this type of work done to your lawn, so if yours is in need then be quick and get in touch on 07849096848 or on one of our socials.

Scarification is an excellent method to revitalise your lawn. Removing moss, weeds and thatch and thus allowing more airflow and nutrients to reach the grass and roots itself.

Sometimes topdressing and overseeding is necessary (such as I will be doing on the lawns in this reel) to get lawns back to their full potential.
