Happy 1st birthday to West Kirby Book Shop! Today was an absolute joy to see the shop packed with customers just wanting to celebrate the wonderful addition to West Kirby’s retail offering.

Hey everyone!

You enjoying the Summer weather?! Ok, so it might not be scorching today but a ‘little’ rain never stops us enjoying our beautiful coast and beaches!

So, with that in mind, our next Cocktail & Candle event at The Barn and in collaboration with our friends over Blind Pig Heswall will be a Coastal inspired one. You will created a vegan friendly woodwick candle and be able to pick from a range of beautiful frosted glassware and Summer inspired scents.

We’ll also embed locally foraged Seaglass and tiny shells on top of your candle for that authentic beach inspired feel!

Who fancies learning how to make reed diffusers? During this workshop, you will be able to customise your diffuser with your chosen glassware colour from a modern ‘urban’ colour scheme, reeds, cap and box and of course, pick your own scent from some beautiful designer fragrances.

We’ll be listing this workshop at £35/head with a matching room spray to be made alongside. Option to make extras on the night at a discounted price - ideal for scenting other rooms or gifting to friends/family.

This is perfect as a group ‘get together’ activity. We can take private bookings of 6-16 people and come to your home if preferred.

Well this was a wonderful Autumnal inspired evening! We taught 45 ladies how to make 3 Autumn inspired candles whilst they supped, ate and caught up with friends. It was a lovely gathering of wonderful women in beautiful surroundings. Thank you so much to all who attended for your support and to Jake and the team Gusto Italian Heswall for facilitating the event.
We have many more events scheduled with Blind Pig Heswall The Barn & Heswall Hall as well as another scheduled festive event on 10th December with Gusto Italian Heswall. Hope to see you at the next one?! 🍸🫶🤗
