"TRIDENT SPEEDLEADERS".

These pre-made Speedleaders come with a tapered elastomeric swivel shroud. The swivel shroud greatly reduces the risk of damaging line guide inserts due to the impact absorbing material used. It also serves as a handle to aide clipping and unclipping rigs.

Trident Speedleaders incorporate a size 10 100lb power swivel and will be available in a range of different lenghts, and in time a range of diameters and line choices. They will also be available in Grey.

I'd just like to comment on a common theme that is size. It appears size does matter!. The Roto is good for maybe size 2 upto 10/0 depending on pattern. All Trident gear is designed for general shore fishing and I feel the range of sizes the Roto accommodates reflects this. Common skate. Shark and larger Tope are classed as specialist targets to me. At around £50.000 in tooling to make a larger or smaller Roto is out of the question I'm afraid.
There is a dongle ring in development to cater for larger circles. These can also be used fo J hooks and pennels if required.

The resistance system within Trident Rotos are elastomeric friction balls set within the Roto. These balls offer a small amount of resistance to hold the Paddle in place whilst casting and in flight. There's just enough friction to reliably hold the paddle in place and repeatedly eject the hook upon impact with the water.

Trident Rotos do not wear or decrease in function over time. I have examples that have been repeatedly used for three years and still work as new. All this reliability, function and longevity for 40p. Unbelievable!!.

This image not only shows how the Termalink protects the rig body, it also illustrates the crimping quality of Trident Start right rigs. Progressive multiple pressure zones are far superior to a single pressure zone. Remember in order for mono to remain knotted it must bite into itself and effectively 'crush' itself thus reducing the diameter. reduced diameter equals reduced strength. The tendancy is to pull knots as tight as possible, this can cause increased crushing and heat build-up. If mono was unable to bite into itself, knots would come undone. This is why I favour crimping over knotting.
