Not long til my holiday to wonderful Scotland so today I planned on making elf doors featuring candy canes etc but the clay had other ideas. Here's is my partly finished woodland door ###
Ps the white tool above the door is my brilliant pacpan which is never far away when it comes to making my little doors.

Life is still a struggle and I do find it hard to get into my clay space with the right energy and head space but today I managed it. Today I've made a start on this year's Christmas ornaments. I try and change them every year and today I've loved getting back to miniatures. These aren't complete but here's a sneak peak to some of this year's Christmas tree decorations. Every little piece of these doors is completely handmade with no molds so no one will will have the same on their tree as you. Stand out from the crowd! I hope you like them ###x

Lots going on in my world that try to interrupt my claying but today I got going on my stock for the Christmas markets. Today I made 6 pairs of Christmas tree earrings that would have been alot more work if it wasn't for my . I use it alot even though I try to make each pair of earrings unique.

My prep has started the "C" season I usually don't make two pairs of identical earrings but as I do a few Christmas fairs and this year I'm doing a virtual one here on ebay I need to batch make. The crystals used for these are vintage swarovski ones and are super sparkly.

I'm a committee member of the British Polymer Clay Guild and this month we have a competition running alongside the beadworkers guild.
This is first entry. You can enter up to three times. I haven't ever made a beaded necklace and I was just playing with some clay whilst watching a Donna Kato video when I liked what I'd made so decided to continue and make a necklace. I had enough of the colours to make matching earrings. I'd have preferred black findings for the earrings but they haven't arrived yet. Voting will take place July 31st and the 6th August which is open to everyone so I'd love it if you could vote for me when the time comes.
This set is also for sale for £20 plus postage.

I know I've been so bad at posting on here. I'm still holding my classes. We meet every 3 weeks or so and we'd love you to join us. We have space for 2 more. Our next meeting is all about silkscreens.
As an update here is one of my unique completely polymer clay bowls. Just building the structure of the bowl took around 10 hours, plus an hour for sanding and poliand I hate yo think how many hours for the different canes. I do love it and it's so silky smooth you can't help but stroke it. Not the best video so will replace it with a better one tomorrow ###

Polymer clay bracelets.
Here at Unique Creations I prefer to make one off items. I've been working with polymer clay for around 3 years and I regularly attend classes to improve my skills and produce my best work. Here are my current selection of polymer clay bracelets. They are completely handmade. The patterned ones are made using cane work. Cane work is alot like a stick of Blackpool rock as you create a pattern that runs the length of the cane and I slice it thinly and then lay it over the polymer clay base I've made. I hand sand all my pieces through 6 grades of sandpaper and then buff and polish on my polishing wheel.
However much its nice to get fancy boxes with branded stickers etc I don't like that it's not good for the environment or the cost that's passed onto customers so I do reuse packaging. I prefer to spend money on quality clay rather than on something that's going in the bin. Each bracelet has a small description underneath the photo. Postage will be at cost for whichever service you choose either first or second class signed for. I won't make money on my postage for petrol time etc, I'd rather be able to sell at a lower price as we struggle enough paying for stuff.

I'm so proud of my polymer clay ladies. Look at these outstandingly gorgeous pens they made in class. They look brilliant in the photos but even better in real life when you can see the sparkle.
Fancy joining us? We have 2 spaces available. We meet every 3 weeks. We organise the date of the following class during class so we can find a date that works for us all plus we all vote on what we want to do within the class. I'm always available outside class either by phone, message, video call or you can call round to me.

Yesterday was my polymer clay groups meeting. They all did amazing work making a cane I designed then slicing and covering a tealight holder. Next meeting is the 22nd May 10am til 4pm. We'll be doing the mica shift technique and making pens.
Here they all are busy working away.
