Today we're celebrating an incredible milestone as our Sales Director, Neil Gamble, marks eleven years with the Architainment Lighting family.

In a world where people change jobs more than ever, we're proud to have built a company where people choose to stay, grow and build lasting careers.

Over the past eleven years, Neil has become a huge part of our success, building strong relationships with customers, sharing his knowledge and helping the business grow every step of the way.

What we're most proud of isn't just the length of service, it's what it says about our culture. At Architainment Lighting, we're more than colleagues, we're a team that genuinely supports one another, and many of us see the business as one big family.

We did it! The Architainment team completed the Macmillan Mighty Hike!

Today, there are plenty of sore muscles, tired feet, and a few groans whenever anyone gets up from their chair!

But the pain is totally worth it as thanks to your amazing support, we raised over £2,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

We're incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, shared our fundraising posts, and cheered us on throughout the journey. Your generosity will help Macmillan continue providing vital support to people living with cancer and their families.

Tomorrow's the big day!

After weeks of training (some more enthusiastically than others!), the Architainment team will be taking on the Macmillan Mighty Hike tomorrow.

There have been plenty of long walks, sore feet, aching legs, and more steps than we'd care to count, all in support of a fantastic cause.

As summer winds down, we're turning our attention to LiGHT26.

Like any exhibition, people will see the finished result when the doors open. The displays, the technology and the new products on show.

What they won't see is everything that happens beforehand.

The planning. The conversations. The ideas. The problem-solving. The long days spent making sure every detail comes together as it should.

In many ways, it's not that different from delivering a lighting project.

Every successful installation starts with an idea, but getting from concept to completion takes collaboration, technical expertise and plenty of teamwork along the way.

That's something we've always believed at Architainment.

Whether it's helping shape a design, supporting a specification, integrating systems or commissioning a project, we've never seen our role as simply supplying technology.

We're delighted to announce that Ada Phillips has joined Architainment as our new Architape Business Development Manager.

With more than 30 years of experience across the electrical, lighting and building sectors, Ada brings a wealth of industry knowledge, technical expertise and commercial experience to the team.

Throughout his career, he has helped grow businesses, develop strategic partnerships and deliver successful lighting projects across a wide range of sectors, including architectural, commercial, industrial, retail, sports and infrastructure.

We're excited to welcome Tom Emery to the Architainment Lighting team as our new Key Account Manager!

Tom brings more than nine years of experience in architectural lighting and specification sales, working alongside architects, lighting designers, M&E consultants, and contractors to help bring projects to life.

With a strong track record of building lasting relationships and solving complex project challenges, Tom has supported projects across a wide range of sectors. His technical expertise, collaborative approach, and passion for delivering innovative lighting solutions make him a fantastic addition to our growing team.

The Architainment team is busy preparing for the Macmillan Mighty Hike and has been putting in the training miles, even through the recent hot weather! We're hoping for cooler temperatures when September arrives.

A successful façade transformation is about more than just lighting. It's about control.

For Copper's Soho headquarters, the goal was to create a façade that could seamlessly transition from daytime transparency to a warm, glowing nighttime presence in the heart of one of London's busiest districts.

Working with Speirs Major Light Architecture, Architainment Lighting supplied and commissioned Lumascape Linealux L1 Mini Grazers, integrated with the building's automated curtain control system to bring the vision to life.

The result? A carefully choreographed transformation that combines:
• Uniform illumination
• Consistent colour rendering
• Smooth animation effects
• Precise curtain positioning
• Seamless interaction between lighting and controls
• A comfortable experience for occupants and passers-by

Through detailed commissioning and programming, the building takes on a distinctive character after dark while staying true to the architectural intent.

We're proud to have played a part in creating a façade that enhances both the building and the surrounding cityscape.

Not every project milestone looks glamorous.

This week has involved gathering equipment for an upcoming mock-up and, if we're being honest, creating a bit of a mess in the warehouse along the way!

But it's a reminder that some of the most important stages of a project happen long before installation begins.

Preparing equipment, planning test scenarios and understanding project objectives allows us to deliver meaningful demonstrations that help clients evaluate solutions in a real-world environment. Because choosing a lighting solution shouldn't involve guesswork. It should be backed by testing, expertise and confidence at every stage.

Creating mock-ups and running demos are all part of our commitment to supporting projects from concept and design through to commissioning and final handover.

We'll be sharing some highlights from the mock-up once testing is complete, so keep an eye on our page for updates.
