Reading is one of the most underrated pass times there is. As a child i have fond memories of my parents reading to me before bed, wanting to hear stories over and over again. I grew up loving the way the words on the page could take me to far away worlds. Since then i have shared my love of reading with family and friends, we give each other recommendations and we share the love of immersing ourselves in a really good story. When i became a mother i couldn't wait to start reading bedtime stories to my daughter. I started this when she was 10 weeks old and we are still going strong at 14 months
Everytime we walk past the bookcase her eyes light up and she gets really excited for me to read to her. One of her favorites is "That's Not My Bunny" she loves to feel the different textures on each page. I discovered Usborne and it is perfect, not only do i get to share my love of reading with my family but i get to bring my love to the community too.

A bit of Sunday morning learning. These lift the flap books make learning so much fun. I have used this lift the flap questions about your body book to teach my 3 year old about the skeleton, where babies grow, why we sneeze, what happens to food once we swallow it and much more.

The books say 4 years plus but even at 3 she loves this series and is learning lots from them.

You have probably noticed that i have been very quiet on the Usborne front recently. This is because I have gone back to work after an amazing year off with my little ones. I'm now getting back into the routine in my day job so I will be back Usborning again soon, just in time for silly season. If you have started planning/buying your Christmas shopping and children's books are on your list I will be placing an order this weekend so let me know and I'll tag you onto it xx
