🖤 Book Review: The Ink Black Heart (Cormoran Strike #6)

If you’re looking for a dark, twisty mystery that pulls you deep into the world of online drama, fandom culture, and obsession, The Ink Black Heart absolutely delivers. This book is intense, layered, and packed with tension from start to finish.

The story follows private detectives Cormoran Strike and Robin Ellacott as they investigate a case tied to a popular animated series—and the toxic online community surrounding it. What starts off as a disturbing situation quickly turns into something much bigger and far more dangerous. The deeper they dig, the more unsettling it becomes.

JK Rowling (writing as Robert Galbraith) does an incredible job building suspense, creating complex characters, and capturing the eerie atmosphere of internet anonymity. The pacing is slower at first, but once it hooks you, it’s hard to put down. The mystery is detailed, smart, and genuinely chilling.

⭐ Overall: A gripping and thought-provoking thriller that feels very modern, unsettling, and addictive.

Oh ... and did i mention it's 1012 pages too! 😆😆

Rating: 4.5/5
