Happy New year! What an incredibly awful 2020 we had. Sadness and disappointment mingled with a few really positive highlights.
We started with a family trip to Barbados and got stranded when the world went in to lockdown!
What can I say other than Covid stinks! Not only the harm it does to people and families health but for the isolation it has also created. I haven’t seen my sister in forever. We also lost family (way to young at 30yrs) through a battle with cancer.
But
We also celebrated new life with a niece. 🥰
We celebrated VE2020, hanging bunting, enjoying a cream tea and meeting our neighbours
We clapped, and rang bells and sung Christmas carols.
We sang the new year in at midday with our neighbours (yes that is a telly tubby, and yes it is me!! Lol)
You’ve been keeping me busy already this year with plenty of offers.
