I really enjoyed making the flowers for this weeks wedding. The very hot weather didn't help, but the flowers held up well.
The flowers included pops of magenta to match the brides flamenco skirt. There were four little bridesmaids bouquets and one even smaller for a tiny flower girl, buttonholes and then bud vases for the reception.
Hopefully I can share some of the wedding photos soon as the flowers always look better being held.

Its been a long day making wedding flowers, to be delivered in the morning.
Trying to keep up with the watering but managed to see the eclipse and water at the same time ☀️💧
I will be back open for orders after tomorrow, but the next 2 weeks are very busy already. If you don't want to miss out let me know asap.
Thanks
Paula

A Sunday stroll around the garden.
The dahlias are flowering away which is lovely to see after the hard work this season to get them to this point.
Lots growing in the polytunnel now, the china asters, sparkling grass and lavatera just starting, along with phlox and sweet peas.
Cosmos and rudbeckia are happily churning out flowers in the outside beds.
I continued to sow quite late this year as batches of flowers are going over quicker than normal, so lots more to come 🤞🌸

A few photos from last night at dusk in the garden 🌸
The dahlias and cosmos are blooming away nicely with a good range of colours. The alstroemaria are back in flower and pumping out lots of stems in the polytunnel along with the next batch of mallows, china asters, phlox and a few sweet peas. There are some lovely rudbeckia Sahara which are a mix of caramels, copper and golds and taller yellow rudbeckia herbstonne.
This week I have good availability of flowers so message me to order bunches or bouquets or buckets.
The week after I have two weddings so will have very limited availability.
Thanks
Paula

The second flush of snapdragons have been too short to use in bouquets and bunches so they will be cheering up the kitchen table too!

Some of today's flowers 💐 🌸
A bouquet, half bucket and full bucket went out along with 10 diy buckets for a wedding (photos to come).
I'm glad it is finally going to cool down a bit as this week has been hard work with early starts, water mains issues in the village and lots of heat!
Its wonderful to see some rain coming down just now although not very much is forecast 🌧

A weekend wander round the garden 🌸
The dahlias are looking very happy back in the raised beds and are romping away. I'm trialling using molasses this year along with regularly spraying of the leaves to keep pests and powdery mildew away. It seems to be working so far 🤞
The cosmos are blooming away nicely now and lots of different colours this year.
The polytunnel is mainly planted with later crops of China asters, mallow and annual phlox with the alstroemaria still pumping out blooms.
