Also on the workbench this week was this gorgeous Ibanez S300 acoustic booked in for a brand new Fishman Neo-D sound hole pickup install

The cheap built-in jack that comes with the pickup was removed and hardwired in place to a brand-new chrome end pin jack which was also installed in place of the original plastic strap peg and the wires were tidied out of the way and dressed around the body of the guitar

A new bone saddle installation for this Aria acoustic this week, as the old one had turned brittle and had chipped in several places.

Once fitted, the action is sitting at a comfortable 2.25mm at the 12th fret and is playing beautifully once again!

A lovely little Tanglewood Acoustic was dropped off yesterday in need of a new nut, as the G and B string nutslots were worn too low causing fret out at the first fret.

The old synthetic nut was replaced with a new unbleached bone nut, which is now set to 20 thou (Low E) to 10 thou (High E) at the first fret, and is now playing beautifully once again!

This PRS NF-3 swung by the Workshop again last night, this time upgrading the stock set of tuners to a new set of PRS SE locking tuners to improve tuning stability and make string changes quicker and easier

This Fender Mustang bass was booked in this week for a Bronze Setup!

The bass came in with an unplayably low action, and a forward bowing neck, which was causing fretting issues around the middle of the fretboard.

Now the action is sitting at a comfortable 2mm to 1.5mm (E - G) at the 17th fret and a neck relief of 10 thou at the 8th fret, and is playing as good as new once again!

This gorgeous Friedman Cali was booked in for an emergency volume pot replacement.

The volume pot shaft had broken free from the pot, so a brand new CTS 500k Linear pot was installed in its place.

Another rebuild for Matt at Bad obsession guitars complete, with this stunning Burny Super Grade LP!

A full fret dress, level, crown and polish performed, we also installed Guyker Locking tuners, a Super 70s Neck Pickup (in a Greeny orientation) and a Super Distortion in the Bridge position, this axe really rips! 🤟🤟

This Washburn Parallaxe was on the workbench earlier, for a pot replacement. The tone pot push/pull was broken and needed replacing.

The customer requested that the bridge pickup be rewired back to stock and a standard pot installed instead. Now all is wired back up, and is ready and raring to gig once again!
