Nearly two weeks on from the 𝘐𝘔𝘐𝘈 𝘔𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘓𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘍𝘰𝘳𝘶𝘮 in Toronto, and we’re still reflecting on what a brilliant few days it was!

Cordee was delighted to attend the main in-person IMIA event which this year took place in 𝘛𝘰𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘰, 𝘊𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘥𝘢 - fantastic few days bringing together publishers, distributors and mapping leaders from around the world.

Before the forum officially began, teams took on 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘈𝘮𝘢𝘻𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘙𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘛𝘰𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘰 - exploring landmarks, racing across the city and battling to the finish line. A brilliant way to experience such a lively city and get to know fellow delegates.

The two-day programme covered everything from new technology in cartography and design, to insightful discussions on publishers’ and distributors’ experiences 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘈𝘮𝘢𝘻𝘰𝘯 in Europe and the US, alongside fascinating perspectives on 𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘤𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 from some of the industry’s most respected voices.

From engaging 𝘬𝘦𝘺𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 and 𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘦𝘭 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘶𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 to insightful 𝘯𝘦𝘵𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 with industry leaders from around the world, the forum yet again highlighted the importance of collaboration in shaping the future of mapping.

A busy week coming up for Cordee in London. 📚🗺️

We’ll be kicking things off at the 𝐈𝐌𝐈𝐀 𝐌𝐚𝐩 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 on Monday, 9th March before heading to 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐫 at Olympia London on Tuesday, 10th March.

It’s always a great opportunity to catch up with publishers, partners and friends across the map and publishing world. We’re looking forward to some great conversations.
