Really excited to be part of this year’s Haslemere Art Society annual exhibition at Haslemere museum. There’s a wide range of art on display from oils to watercolours and ceramics to glass (of course!). So come and have a look, it’s free and open from 9-19 September, 10am-5pm.

Had an amazing workshop at the weekend with the talented learning wildlife painting on stained glass. I knew the basics having done it years ago but it was great to experiment with mark making and have an expert on hand to answer all my questions. The workshop was at the Grow Wilder centre in Bristol which was an amazing place full of wild flowers and an Earth house. It was lovely to be working with hand blown stained glass again rather than fusing glass. Can’t wait to see the final, leaded up pieces.

Surrey Artists Open Studios and the more local Hindhead Art Trail, is now in full flow with its annual Open Studios event, taking place 6–21 June from 11am-5pm, across Surrey and nearby villages. Entirely free to attend, the event gives art lovers a rare and personal opportunity to visit 152 working artists in their own creative spaces — from garden studios and converted barns to home workshops and shared creative hubs. Visitors are welcome to explore studios, watch artists at work, ask questions, and purchase original artwork directly from the makers.

My own garden studio at the edge Grayshott village will be open for selected dates, from 12-14 June (this - hopefully sunny! - weekend) and 18-21 June, with a colourful collection of fused glass art for the home and garden. Do pop by, it will be lovely to see you! I have chocolate Hobnobs!

Thanks to everyone who has braved the unseasonal weather and visited so far, it’s been great to see you. I’m open again this Friday, and for the very sunny Saturday and Sunday 12-14June from 11am-5pm for . I’m also part of the wonderful which features 13 inspiring local artists. You can pick up leaflets/brochures with all info from my studio. Aside from all the flower pops out in the garden, inside my studio I also have a colourful display of fused glass for you to browse. Visiting is FREE and it would be lovely to see you. I still have some chocolate Hobnobs left!

There’s no such thing as bad weather just inappropriate clothing! Put your best waterproofs on and come and visit open all this weekend from 11am-5pm. My studio is warm and cosy and I have chocolate hobnobs!

In case anyone is local to the lovely village of Churt, just down the road from Grayshott where I live, they are having their Open Gardens this weekend 30-31 May, 1.30pm-5.30pm. Lots of beautiful gardens and woodland walks to visit. Plus, at Symondstone, there is a fabulous exhibition of art, ceramics and the odd fused glass flower pop on exhibition 😊. It’s going to be a lovely weekend and profits go to Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice charity in Farnham. See you there!
