Here's our first customer of the day at Creake Abbey Gift Fair last Saturday. This very lively spaniel had a new lead (worn here by his owner), a rope toy and a doormat. We sold out of doormats so I'll be busy making more in time for our next craft fair - The Burnhams Market on September 19th in Burnham Market.

We're at Creake Abbey on Saturday for the Summer Gift Fair. After having such a busy day at Burnham Market, we've both been very busy making doormats, doorstops and rope leads ready for this one.

We delivered a little order of flax rope monkey's fist knots to Holkham Courtyard Gift Shop this week to top up their leads and toys. Now we're busy making more in time for the Creake Abbey Gift Fair next Saturday, 29th August.

We had a great day at the Burnham Market Craft Fair on Saturday when lots of lovely people and dogs came to see us. This lovely chap was one of several who went away with a new flax rope lead. Our next event is in 2 weeks time - the Creake Abbey Gift Fair on August 29th.

We were just admiring our collection of Monkey's Fist knot doorstops and Manila doormats before we pack them up ready for the Burnham Market Craft Fair tomorrow. Hope to see you there!

It's the 50th Burnham Market Craft Fair on Saturday. We'll be there, in our usual spot, on the green by the church. It's a great event with nearly 100 genuine craft stalls on the various greens in the centre of the village. Open from 9am to 5pm.

We're nearly ready for tomorrow's event: Hindolveston Crafts in Action. We'll be with our crafty friends and neighbours demonstrating how we turn knots into useful items for home, garden & pets. There'll also be crafters working with willow, leather, textiles, glass, ceramics and even a violin maker. Open from 9am to 4pm in our lovely village hall. Delicious home made cakes make the day even better...

Neil & Julie, The Traditional Rope Company, will be demonstrating knot tying and splicing at our Crafts in Action day on Sunday. They'll be joined by 12 other local artists and artisans who'll spend the day working at their craft.

We're getting ready for a busy August. We start the month with Hindolveston Crafts in Action on August 2nd, then the Burnham Market Craft Fair on the 15th and Creake Abbey Summer Gift Fair on the Saturday of August Bank Holiday - the 29th.
