As it’s been nearly 6 months since I set up the business, I thought it was about time for a ‘face behind the flowers’ post! I’m Andrea of Daisy May Flowers. Thank you for following my page!

I formally set up my business in January after working for 15 years in flower shops and creating wedding flowers from my studio at home.

I have a teaching background but retrained as a florist at Shuttleworth college after having my 2 daughters. In case you were wondering, the name Daisy May came from a combination of my two nieces names 🌸 🌼

I am studio based in Hitchin, and since setting up, I have had successful Valentines and Mothers days and created flowers for several occasions including birthdays, and funerals. I have also taught a peony hand tie workshop.

I look forward to sharing more of my work with you and news of upcoming workshops. In the meantime I am here for all your floral requirements! Please ring, email or DM me for requests.

Last week one of my wreaths made its journey to France (in a VW camper van!) to be laid down at the British (commonwealth) cemetery in Bayeux. Proud to have created something in memory of the lives taken too soon.
