Join me at the studio to create your own ceramic Highland cow.

Guided step by step, you’ll begin by creating a simple pinch pot to form the body before bringing your cow to life with a head, horns, and distinctive features.

Using a combination of coiling techniques and an extruder, you’ll create the Highland cow’s iconic coat and fringe. You’ll also have the opportunity to add your own unique details and decorative elements, giving your cow plenty of personality and character.

Family session Sunday 16th August 10-12. Minimum age 7

Adult session Saturday 29th August 10-1

We worked very hard yesterday to get the studio moved around. I’m hoping this makes more sense of the space but sometimes you’ve got to live in it for a moment to see what works. Now to finish cleaning down and finding a home for some displaced tools

Join me for a two day workshop creating your own garden bead sculpture.

Build a striking sculptural piece in this two-day workshop.

Over the course of the workshop, you’ll design and hand-build a series of 6 individual clay forms that will be stacked to create a unique vertical sculpture. With guidance on construction, surface decoration, and balance, you’ll explore creative ways to combine shapes, textures, and patterns, resulting in a personal and expressive ceramic stack to display in your home or garden.

Suitable for complete beginners or those with some previous experience.

Last bisque load of market prep is on for market this coming Saturday. This little lot will likely become two glaze firings, hoping to get it all through in time! 🤞🏻loads of mugs, beakers, serving bowls and platters all in time for summer outside dinning
