Let’s Talk Perimenopause and Menopause!

As I’ve started to get older I am finding that I may have signs of perimenopause so I have extended my knowledge in this area by reading articles and books, watching videos and of course attended a course on Reflexology for Menopuase -supporting women through perimenopause and menopause.

When I first started to research into perimenopause I was surprised to see the list of symptoms and how some small changes in lifestyle and how we feel about menopause can affect how we react or embrace this change.

Not everyone will experience all the symptoms or any symptoms but here are some symptoms
Sleep disturbance
Vivid Dream
Mood Swings
Headaches
Night Sweats
Overheating
Weight gain
Dry skin
Irregular Periods
No periods
Anxiety
Brain Fog
Hot Flushes
Bloating
Constipation
Feeling Low

There are many more on the list and you may have some unique to you. As I’ve heard of some having ringing in the ears.
