This is such a lovely set. Each piece of this solid silver brush and comb set dates from 1966 (assay mark R) and was made in Birmingham. It’s set within a lovely soft leather case with a smooth zip action.

Brush and comb sets are fairly easy to come across, but not ones that are actually made from solid silver. This would have been an expensive item back in 1966 and would make a really special gift for someone today.

It’s in lovely condition and the brush is monogrammed, but not with determinable letters. They could be JH, but could also be interpreted as being other letters too. The point being is that it could just be a pattern, so it wouldn’t matter what someone’s initials are as this remains a gorgeous piece.

Great example of a rare Gillette Gold Slim Adjustable razor. This 22 carat plated piece dates from 1966.
Date marked L4 the so called James Bond razor featured in the 1964 film Goldfinger. Only not even Sean Connery got to handle this rare gold version.

Here's something rather special and a real find for any grooming connoisseur. A RARE 22 carat GOLD plated Gillette Slim adjustable from 1966.
