I’m about to join a homeopathic discussion around the current Bluetongue outbreak, looking at ways we can offer our animals as much support as possible. 🐐💛
Just to be crystal clear — this does not mean we are replacing veterinary care, ignoring veterinary advice, or trying to treat Bluetongue ourselves.
We have an excellent herd health plan in place with our vets, and they are absolutely involved whenever they need to be. Veterinary care comes first.
For us, this is simply about learning what else we can do alongside that care to support their little bodies, keep them as strong and comfortable as possible, and reduce risks wherever we can.
We’re big believers in doing as much as we reasonably can for our animals — good nutrition, supplements, hygiene, careful monitoring, veterinary support and learning about complementary approaches that may help with general wellbeing.
When you love them like we do, you want every tool in the toolbox. ❤️
We’re not claiming miracles. We’re not ditching the vets. We’re just trying to give our herd the very best support we possibly can during a worrying time.
