We are the largest animal welfare charity in the North West. We rehome over 1800 domestic animals each year and work with local councils to take in stray dogs. We beleive that every animal deserves a second chance, which is why we have a non destruct policy at our charity. At any onetime we have 120 dogs, 100 cats and 20 rabbits & guinea pigs -please vist our lovely residents looking for their for

ever homes at www.ncar.org.uk

We have many fundraising events and Open Days each year and regularly visit schools and communities to educate on animal welfare. It costs our charity £1000 a day to keep the rescue open - so every donation really does make a difference. CH8 9BD

NEXT SATURDAY! Support Harri and Arthur’s Big Climb: Saturday 6th June

On 6th June, Harri and Arthur will be taking on an extraordinary challenge; climbing Mount Snowdon at sunrise to raise money for North Clwyd Animal Rescue (NCAR).

For most adults, this would be a huge achievement. But Harri and Arthur are just 11 and 8 years old!

Please support Harri and Arthur, and help cheer them on as they climb for Iris, Scout, and every rescue animal hoping for a brighter future.

Know someone who loves animals or wants to support a brilliant local charity? Share this post with them! The bigger our community, the more animals we can help.

Find out more and donate if you can here: https://ncar.org.uk/harri-and-arthurs-big-climb/

Jynnie was stray but is now safe with us. As soon as she finishes her stray period, gets assessed and has her profile posted online, she'll be ready for adoption!

She's a nice dog with really good potential, she'll just need a loving family to help her realise it!

A massive thank you to everyone who very kindly donated to our animals during last weekend's Wishlist Weekend! This is just some of the items that were so generously bought for our dogs and cats to enjoy!

We also want to say a huge thank you to all our volunteers who gave up their time to help us, and to .petsathomeuk Rhyl for welcoming us once again and for your continued support!

Thank you!

Tilly + Coco🐾
These girls have come into our care for rehoming due to their owners unfortunate ill health. They are finding kennel life quite overwhelming after living in a quiet home previously so we would love to find them a new home ASAP so that they can get back to enjoying home comforts.

Tilly is 15 years old and Coco is almost 6 years old - Coco is a very nervous girl who originally came over from Romania. They are looking for caring, patient owners who can offer them a quiet home. We would love for them to find a new home together as they depend on eachother quite a lot🥰

Have a read of their rehoming profile and fill in an application form if you meet their rehoming criteria.
They can live with a calm compatible dog and have lived with cats previously. Fingers crossed the right home comes along soon for them!🤞

Jade is another stray dog who has recently come into North Clwyd Animal Rescue, she's pretty nervous of the world in general.
But underneath all that fear there is a really sweet dog trying to show herself. Hopefully we can help her get there!

Would you like to volunteer over the Bank Holiday or during the week ahead?
Please remember that it can be too hot for our dogs to walk during the middle of the day, but there are still lots of ways you can help!

Our cats love extra attention too, and there are plenty of other jobs around the rescue including gardening, painting, tidying, or simply spending time with the animals.

Why not also pop into our onsite café while you’re here?

Thank you so much for your continued support — together we can help keep our animals safe, happy, and cool.
