An independent Honiton gift shop has been named the South West's Card and Gift Shop of the Year for the sixth consecutive year.

So excited about Charter Day tomorrow! Going to be fab weather and loads going on xx
Just started the window for the special display of the theme this year ' Storytelling'.
Also, Planet Sal has now joined the Love Homiton initiative to promote the amazing High Street.
Spend £10 in any participating business and, once you have 10 stamps, you can enter the draw at the Gate To Plate Festival here in August.

So very excited to announce that I had another trip up to Bristol to meet the lovely Prestige Awards guys on Sunday, and collected my 2025-2026 Crystal Trophy for winning the Card And Gift Shop Of The Year, South West, for the 6th YEAR RUNNING! 💎🏆❤️🥂
Really such an honour for my little shop of stardust 😊

In a great day for Honiton, James' patisserie & sandwiches also won an award - for Best Sandwich Shop, South West!
Our town has so many great indie shops and eateries. Visitors always comment on this. Big 📢WELL DONE to all of us 💪💋💫

Nice piece in the trade press mag (Progressive Greetings) today about humour card sales. I had a bit in there and just want to reiterate how brilliant it is to hear my lovely customers giggling at the funny cards😊 My top card category by far.

Also, don’t forget Father’s Day is on the horizon! June 21st. Starting the window today.
