Welcome to our

✨🧶MARCH POP-UP CROCHET TUITION SESSIONS ✨🧶

@ The Centenary Hall - Smallfield Village

Tuesdays from 15:45 to to 17:00 (beginners club)

Wednesdays from 14:30 to 15:45 (beginners club)

Thursdays 5th, 19th, 26th from 16:15 to 17:30 (beginners club)

Thursday 12th from 15:45 to 17:30 (advanced beginners-intermediates club)

Great news! Our session fee stays at just £5, with free yarn available to practise your stitches.

Members can also purchase acrylic DK yarn for just £1.50 per 100 g (while stock last). Crochet hooks and tools are available too.

Crochet has only one language 🧶🩷and our classes are mixed - kids and adults learning together.

🗓️THURSDAY 19/02 (NEW TRIAL SESSION) INTERMEDIATE Crochet CLUB - from 15:45 to 17:00 - (this trial is designed for more experienced crocheters, who would like to bring and work on their own projects, get help with patterns, learn special techniques and more …)

🧶 Free yarn and free use of crochet tools (for beginners)
🚗Free parking

🧶Beginner Trial Session 🤩

I’ll be running a TRIAL Crochet Session for complete beginners.
No experience needed - just come alone and try crochet in a calm, supportive space.

✨£5 per person
✨Yarn included (a crochet hook can be purchased from as little as £1)
✨Relaxed friendly atmosphere

This is a taster session and leads into ongoing beginner classes (and/or private tuition) for those who’d like to continue.

Adorable Rolo in his new Chunky Coat braving the freezing cold weather … 🥶

For those who crochet might be interested warming to the ‘moss crochet stitch’ I have used.
The ultimate crochet technique which gives you the perfect fabric not only for dogs and cats but also for tiny humans .. the result is in your hands 🙌

Going back to Rolo … I am so very grateful to his human mum (and his lovely Nonna) for entrusting me to create the coats and for the pictures … 🤎🐾

A very Merry Christmas to all, with this magical display by my beautiful sister in law Anna 🥰
The Village of Ossi (Sardinia - Italy) this year is showing some extraordinary Christmas crochet decorations (yarn bombing) created by local crocheters in their fantastic community.
I have attached some pictures from a post published today by a very proud mayor of Ossi (MrPasquale Lubinu)
I so wish I could have taken part .. but only some of my work can be there for now 😅
Anna has added to her display some amazing handmade pieces she purchased locally from a Christmas Market supporting the Library of Ossi.
My heart this evening is filled with so much love for people’s creativity, passion and inspirational work ☺️

There are hundreds of Rescue Organisations in England and one lucky one .. up North .. has received again this year .. the most beautiful blankets perfectly crocheted by our amazingly talented Carol Lakin ❤️

The combination of beautiful yarn 🧶 love and passion for the animals 🐕 compassion, commitment and dedication makes this project so very special every single year…

The impact of huge love and the warmth provided to the dogs in the rescue is not just for Christmas 🎄

You are one very special human being my friend and I’m so very proud of you every single day ❤️❤️❤️
