Before Jack the Ripper, London belonged to a different kind of monster. It's October 1837 and a towering, razor-thin silhouette begins terrorising the dark alleys of London. They called him a ghost, a monster, a demon. Witnesses swore he had eyes like glowing balls of fire, hands tipped with metallic claws and even reports of spitting blue fire scolding his victims before leaping away over 10ft fences, earning his name. Spring Heeled Jack
