This is a children’s book my wife wrote together and I did all the artwork/ illustrations.
This book April Showers is available from Amazon worldwide.
I’ve posted this for those who don’t know about my book.
The weather has been like April showers today in Leeds 😂.
This book has been illustrated through the eyes of a child.
It’s a great book to read and the illustrations are quirky and charming, an ideal gift for children 😊.

Some people don’t know that I turned down a place at The Royal Academy of Arts in the 80’s.
I just wanted to leave school, obviously I regret that now.
It hasn’t stopped me from creating my own artwork in my style.
This is Charles Hanson from the BBC he does Bargain Hunt and Antiques Road Trip.
He has his own auction house too.
He came to my house in May to collect his portrait.
This is oil and acrylic on canvas.

You’re probably wondering why you haven’t seen any of my artwork 🖼️.
A couple of factors really: firstly my artwork is a hobby for me at the moment.
Secondly my full time job is I’m a landscape gardner.
In the summer I don’t get much time for any artwork especially this year as the weather has been glorious and we have been really busy since February.
I’m sure it will slow down real soon, who knows it could be busy all year.
I do various artworks from abstract/ contemporary to fine art.
I try and keep my artwork colourful.
