Today is Emergency Services Day, a day to recognise the incredible people who work and volunteer across our emergency services, and to remember those who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
Emergency services are also a familiar part of children's imaginative play. Fire engines race to the rescue, police cars answer important calls, and hospitals care for those who need help.
To mark 999 Day, we've brought together some of our emergency services toys that help children create their own rescue stories through play.
