Menards Fishery is open to Members and Non members by booking only and is a haven for huge carp to 41lbs and Pike to 28lbs Located on Hammerpond Road, Horsham West Sussex.Rh13 6ph. Menards was just a dream for many years but when circumstances changed in my life and the time was right i jumped into creating the sort of fishery i wanted to fish. Now many very hard years down the line and having taken some huge financial risks i am finally happy that i have fulfilled my ambition and it was deffinately all worth it. The 6 acre Specimen Lake is an out and out carpers paradise. Originally being 2 specimen lakes constructed in the late 90's and sympathetically joined together. The lake contains many features including islands, lilly pads, marginal shelves gravel bars and plateaus with depths of up to 12 feet. There is a large head of English mirror, common and koi carp to 40.08 and Pike to 25lbs. Increasing numbers of fish are topping the 30 barrier with an estimated figure of between 15 to 20 specimens at the moment. The average size is also increasing every year with a high proportion of the stock now over 22lb. We currently carry out de-stockings every season to ensure our fish continue to grow and we hope for a fishery that offers 30lb carp and above in the future. All this is complimented by purpose built, large wood chipped swims, TOILET AND SHOWER BLOCK, secure car park, Indian, Kebab, Pizza and Chinese food deliveries to the car park, a microwave and charging in the Tackle and Bait Shop for you to use.All facilities are included in the your session fee. Menards is situated in a quiet tranquil setting within a 10 acre complex surrounded by mature oak trees on the edge of St Leonards forest.
