Darko.Audio is no stranger to looking at hi-fi a little differently to most reviewers. And so it proved when he recently lined up five USB DACs for careful consideration - a lineup that included our brand new DragonFly Copper.
Rather than focusing in on sonic differences for this particular piece, Darko considered other key factors in their design, including weight, size, output ports, the durability of their connection cables, and their sample-rate ceiling.
In his summary, Darko notes that Copper could be an especially useful solution as a line source for an iPad or similar desktop setup, given it "...rides a stiff DragonTail adapter that holds it clear of the iPad’s port, so it dangles without drooping or straining the socket." Good stuff!
